Ben Shrestha owns Bluestone Café located in the Optus campus in Sydney. He’s been there for well over 10 years and recently relaunched.
Today Bluestone provides a premium offer including:
- Espresso Bar: espresso-based coffees, premium teas, and decadent European treats.
- Premium Fresh Food Bar: a range of delicious, nutritious food options.
- Corporate Catering: comprehensive catering services.

Ben worked with creative designer Dave Green of Sydney design studio Placed. With expertise from Brand Experience to Interior Design, Dave could draw on his expertise to provide a full re-design service.

For the food display equipment, Ben chose FPG Inline GN refrigerated and heated cabinets. These were integrated into the counters to create a seamless display. Fitted with on-counter serve-over gantries the result is a very smart installation with clean uncluttered lines. They also included a FPG Visair Slimline Refrigerated for a well-lit, open front drinks display.
Why FPG? Ben found FPG’s website. He wanted quality that would stand the test of time. He also liked the look of the FPG Inline GN undermount option – a feature Dave also appreciated. After onsite meetings with FPG Sales Manager Monza Hafza, Ben decided it was the right solution for his business. Monza liaised with Dave and supplied drawings and CAD files to assist the design process.

Ben is happy with the overall look and operation of the equipment. He has just relaunched properly in March 2025 so it is all very new. Even so, the feedback from all staff in the building to date has been very positive.
