In 2021, FPG participated in the ExportNZ ASB Hawke’s Bay Export Awards. We were delighted to win the Innovation Category with our unique strategy for Indonesia where we offer both Custom Projects for food retail and food service in addition to our traditional export business – FPG temperature-controlled food and drink display cabinets.
The strategy draws on the strengths and capabilities from across the FPG Group in New Zealand, China and Indonesia enabling us to offer bespoke solutions in Indonesia that combine the best of local and international design, manufacturing, equipment sourcing, and services.
While it is still early days, FPG was able to demonstrate early success indicators including a significant project with Indonesian retailer, Alfamart, for a comprehensive turnkey solution for their Alfaexpress convenience stores. CEO Robert Darroch said he was pleased for the team that FPG won this award. “Implementing this strategy has been an international team effort and this Award is for everyone – employees and partners – who have contributed to its early success.”
